Time Lapse – Winged Glory Installation, Sebring Fl

Ever wonder what it takes to put one of my sculptures on display?  Installing a sculpture with a city government, sculpture park or museum for public display is a delicate dance of logistics.  Well here is your chance to see what it takes in a time lapse video of the Winged Glory installation in Sebring Florida.

I either ship or drive the sculptures for shows to the state involved , in this case I used a  truck to get to Circle Park in Sebring Florida where Winged Glory was to be displayed.  Final installation took place with the help of a wonderful public works crew from Sebring and you can see the whole process takes, patience, elbow grease and muscles – all in under two minutes.  One point of interest is that I make most of my works modular to facilitate easy transportation and set up and you can see how that happens here.

I am honored to have three pieces in the Florida Outdoor Sculpture Competition 2014 show, running from March 2014 – February 2015 so please go see my works in Lakeland, Winter Haven and Sebring Florida.  Hope you enjoy this and if you are in the area tweet me a picture or add a comment to my Facebook page.

Enjoy!
