Jack Howard-Potter Spring Shows 2015
I have been very busy installing new sculptures in Georgia, Virginia, Kansas, Florida and Massachusetts; with Chicago, Long Island City and Colorado soon to be joining the list. I hope you have a chance to see some of my work in these locations; a complete list of new shows can be found at the bottom of this email.
I am once again participating in Open Studios as part of LIC Arts Open May 15th and 16th at my studio located at 43-50 11th street, Long Island City NY 11101, Space 200G, from 1-7pm each day. I am opening my studio to give people an idea about where and how I work. You will be able to see the raw materials, tools and practices I use in creating my sculptures.
Please come out and enjoy everything that Long Island City has to offer during LIC Arts Open 2015! The festival is in its 5th year and I have been participating since the second year. There are wonderful performances, music, open studios, shows and the chance to explore Long Island City.
My work will be included in a group show called Shangri-La in LIC running Saturdays – Tuesdays May 15th – June 15th. The address is 30-30 47th Avenue LIC, NY.
Two of my sculptures will also be on display for LIC Springs! 2015 Event on Saturday May 9th from 12-5pm. It is a great event that closes down the main thoroughfare of Vernon Blvd between 50th Avenue and 46th Avenue from 12-5pm for the Second Annual LIC Springs! FREE community block party!
