Check out the Media Buzz at ArtPrize 2014 – Figures in Motion
With ArtPrize 2014 in full swing I wanted to share some of the media buzz for Figures in Motion. I was delighted to do a few interviews during the installation of Dancer XX as well as all the other sculptures in the Fifth Third Plaza in downtown Grand Rapids.
I was also especially excited to have this story done on my host family and so much appreciate their kindness and generosity as they put me up, feed me, loaned me a car (not required) and supported me throughout the installation and show.
There is a profile on me and my entry from the Collegiate, which is the student newspaper of the Grand Rapids Community College done by an ArtPrize artist, Jonathan D. Lopez.
In addition there is a piece in which I make a quick appearance about the wonderful steps ArtPrize has taken to promote seeing the show by bike!
