Lecture on June 14th!

In addition to hosting the show of sculptures in Thalia Mara Hall during the competition, USA IBC has asked me to give a lecture on my work, history, process and the installation of the commissioned, monumental sculpture, Dancer 12, on June 14th at 10:00am at the Jackson Convention Complex Theatre.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I try to capture movement in a medium that does not move. Using steel which is an inherently rigid material I work to convey a sense of fluid action in space. My work explores the wide range of movement of the human figure informed through my study of drawing the human anatomy.
