Moving Sculpture – Studio Clean Up!

By Jack Howard-Potter|February 13, 2014event, news, steelstatue

A buddy and I spent a few hours in my studio cleaning up for a studio visit from a gallery.  This video typifies the plight of a sculptor.  Moving heavy sculpture around and creating room in a studio where there seemingly isn’t any free space.  You can get a sense of the size, weight and logistics of my studio.

It was a dirty, sweaty job but gives a good description of the constraints of storing and displaying sculpture in one space.

Enjoy!
